Anita Briem, an Icelandic actor, is widely known. Anita Briesm, a Icelandic actor is known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the wife to Henry VIII) in the television series The Tudors. Also for her role as Hannah in the 2008 movie Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem was nine when she started acting in Iceland's National Theater.
